Publikationer i Sverige

I Sverige finns olika forum där vetenskapliga texter inom antropologi publiceras. Dessa texter genomgår noggrann fackgranskning för att säkerställa en hög vetenskaplig standard i enlighet med internationella riktlinjer. Många publikationer är skrivna på engelska för att nå en internationell publik, men det finns även publikationer på svenska (exempelvis årsboken Ymer).

Open access (öppen tillgång) är ett utmärkande drag för antropologiska publikationer i Sverige. Open access betyder att publikationerna kan laddas ner gratis från Internet, såväl böcker som tidskriftsartiklar. Detta möjliggör en vidare spridning av antropologisk kunskap till forskare, studenter och en bredare allmänhet.

Stockholm University Press is an open access publisher of peer reviewed academic journals and books. The Press provides access to electronic journals and books free of charge, and printed books at low prices.

The journal kritisk etnografi seeks to capture societal transformation and global change from multiple ethnographic voices and perspectives. It promotes new forms of societal and cultural engagements, critical reflections on the craft of ethnography, and collaborative joint-authorships.

The journal is an open access publication, free of any charges. The full content of all issues and every article can be downloaded from the Swedish digital academic archive, DiVA.

Ymer, Svenska Sällskapet för Antropologi och Geografi  (SSAG)

Årsboken Ymer är en av SSAG:s viktigaste publikationer. Den ges ut en gång om året och består av ca tio kapitel på volymens tema skrivna i huvudsak av forskare. Ymer är på svenska och riktar sig till medlemmar, forskare, studenter och till allmänheten. Ymer används alltmer i undervisningen vid olika universitet och högskolor.
